Our logistics are dialed in to provide a smooth, worry-free experience. Guests are picked up directly from their resorts in Punta Cana, Dominicus, or Bayahibe and brought to our visitor center on the beach of Bayahibe. From there, we board the speedboat and the adventure begins! After a half day of exploring, relaxing, and swimming, we return you on time to enjoy the rest of your afternoon at the resort.

Departing from Bayahibe, we cruise along the scenic coastline of the Cotubanama National Park, heading toward the dramatic Rocks of Peñón—once a sacred site for the Taino Indians. Along the way, keep your eyes open for iguanas sunning themselves on the cliffs, and with a bit of luck, we might even be joined by playful dolphins swimming near the boat. It’s the perfect start to a relaxed and unforgettable eco adventure!

Our first stop is Catuano Beach, a secluded gem and SeavisTours’ private concession on Saona Island. Surrounded by palm trees and calm turquoise waters, it’s the ideal place to relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful side of paradise. Stretch out in a beach chair, take a dip, or explore the shallows with a snorkel—this is your time to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the island.

The Mangroves

After lunch, we continue our journey by gliding past the lush Mangroves that line the channel between Saona Island and the mainland. These protected forests are vital nurseries for marine life, offering shelter and nutrients to countless species. Since 2013, this area has been closed to boat traffic to preserve its delicate ecosystem. As we cruise quietly alongside, we’ll keep a lookout for sea turtles surfacing for air and stingrays gliding through the shallows—a magical moment for nature lovers.

We save one of the highlights for last: the iconic Starfish Sandbank, a crystal-clear natural swimming pool in the middle of the sea. This shallow sandbank is home to vibrant red cushion starfish, peacefully resting among the seagrass in their untouched habitat. The waist-deep water stretches endlessly in stunning hues of turquoise and blue—perfect for floating, taking pictures, and simply soaking in the magic.
